History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion.

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Cloak and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
