History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nurkara grew up listening to her mother's many stories. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
