History: The child of a Navigator, who enjoyed hunting, Kite was taken on many hunting expeditions. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Mijira is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Mijira was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Butcher. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Butcher for hire.

Personality: He is mildly Halfling supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. A gifted student he started as a Bounty Hunter, but he got bored and became a Carter. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He worked as a nervous Server and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
