He wears a feathered hat to cover his moderate length chestnut hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Ghâm is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Ghâm hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered dire rats who tried to eat his hand. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Ghâm was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Shautha was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. In her 16th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Shautha and her spouse have recently divorced.
