Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Carter but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born in the west to a Carter, Lewis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carter. He now owns his own business.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He wears his black hair up in a very large beehive style do. His gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Gifted from a young age, Dayereth studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Dayereth grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Dayereth. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She was born in a small mountains village. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
