History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Thorpe alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Thorpe never married again. History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Detective arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Eva alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted.
