History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After months of barely getting by, Vilberg managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: She was born in the west. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She wants revenge against brigands; and seeks redemption
