History: Daar was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Daar was a troubled youth. Daar decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. After a long history of fighting, Iados and his spouse have recently divorced.
