His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Farmer. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many goblins want her driven away; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Born in the east to a Laborer, Nurkara learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
