Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Avelina was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her father's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered gnolls who tried to eat her hand. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Miller but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Miller arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He worked as a nervous Miller and found it very stressful. He now owns his own business.

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, she wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). Her silver hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. She has a dull look in her brown eyes.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: She is a Lamia in disguise. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Halfling companion (her 'brother'). She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.
