He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Kellen's homeland. Kellen decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He tends to his Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Edge was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
