History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: Born in the east to a Guard, Volen learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Chad was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His first spouse was a Baker, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.
