History: Alvyn was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Alvyn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Alvyn. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Born in the west to a Baker, Ogg learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Ogg was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Cora is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
