History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. During her travels, Matilda and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Matilda discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Matilda fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Zog lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
