History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her first spouse was a Server, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Server they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Baker, and she later adopted a second son.

She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: Valafar lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he is unsatisfied with his job
