His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Description: Standing 5'11", this man wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with grey colored cloaks and clothing. His brown hair, when down, is lengthy. His gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Stableman. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Hugh was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Gynnie was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. After a long history of fighting, Gynnie and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Born in the south to a Detective, Manfred learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Detective and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
