Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born in the west. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Stableman and was forced into it by his family; and to pay off his debts

Personality: Torbera hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her poetry career. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Torbera grew up listening to her father's many stories. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shepherd. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jillian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jillian. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
