Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rangrim does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Rangrim lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He struck the Guard job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. Her skin is light but she possesses many violet ritualistic tattoos. She wears a tan shirt with thin violet vertical stripes and white pants. Her brown hair is cut short. Her eyes are gray.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
