History: Godfrey was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Delebean hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shepherd. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Raer lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Weaver, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.
