History: She was born in the north. Through the years after Beatrice was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Beatrice's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Bethrynna lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Blacksmith father left him crippled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and to end his boredom

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Bethrynna hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.
