History: Born in the south to a Locksmith, Paelias learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Alain's homeland. Alain decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alain fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Adventurer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
