Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: Don hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She is a Maurezhi in disguise. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Sarah was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Sarah decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She tends to her Sage job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
