History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hecat grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hecat. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Gardain was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Now he works as a singing tutor during his time off.

History: Nordak was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he would like to get married and retire

Description: A stocky darker skinned man, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright brown and violet, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has red hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Gimurt was born the youngest of three triplets. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
