Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He tends to wear a tan poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His long brown hair reaches down to his waist. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are blue.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rolen does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Seamstress, and he later adopted a second son.

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her hair, while still mostly golden, has prominent grey streaks. Her green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable.

History: Igden was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'9" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a tattered pair of loose green pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are silver and catlike.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Skamos is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Skamos hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
