History: She got into the Navigator business at a young age. Quick was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Navigator. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Navigator.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sage for the past few years.
