Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Korfel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off his debts

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

History: Tree hails from a village terrorized by giants. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bookbinder. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
