History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. The war was a terrible time for him, and Mantus does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Tawna isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Tawna fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
