History: Gifted from a young age, Meriele studied abroad. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Dagnal is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Dagnal alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
