History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Joser grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Guard for the past few years.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Tenena's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mason work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mason work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
