History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Interpreter arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When Gurdis reached her early adolescence her Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has never given up on her painting dream.
