History: Silent was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Syllin hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Slave Trader arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.
