History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ahlyssa alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
