Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he is wearing a long, yellow cloak. His tied-back hair is silver. His gray eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Nicholas hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shepherd. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Shifting took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
