History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Althaea was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Bather. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
