Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Emma is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gifted student she started as a Bookbinder, but she got bored and became a Apothecary. She struck the Apothecary job and began her own company from there.

History: Born in the south to a Ploughman, Barendd learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now owns his own business.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
