She found a children's book about a Gnome Warlock who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: She was born into a rich family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
