History: Born in the east to a Stableman, Akta learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Stableman. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and further expansion of business

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Carlin is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
