Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Mardred embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She takes great joy in being the best Mercenary in town.

History: Born in the south to a Mercenary, Mardred learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she's looking for her big break

Description: This malnourished woman dresses like a well dressed Priest does. She has moderate length golden hair. Her eyes are blue and catlike.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tervaround was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Tervaround was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Elven artifacts is her passion; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Description: He tends to wear a large white jacket. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his greataxe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. He has a very tight haircut. His eyes are a pleasant gray.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Half-Orc culture. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
