Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Marastyr enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Marastyr hails from a village terrorized by goblins. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Now he works as a dancing tutor during his time off.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: He comes from a rich western family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
