History: Shax lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. After a long history of fighting, Shax and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: Gifted from a young age, Arannis studied abroad. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Arannis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
