Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Birel is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Birel hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
