By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Through the years after Nelkin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Nelkin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a deep hatred of goblins

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she is content
