History: Born in the east to a Soapmaker, Eiravel learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Soapmaker for the past few years.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. At some point she was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Shifting was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
