Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Hamil isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born in the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Hamil's homeland. Hamil decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Personality: Tatyan is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Tatyan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Ruler. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Tatyan never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.
