Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Kaladan lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and wants to raise his children well

He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'3" when asserting himself. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He hates giants. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Mindartis hails from a village terrorized by giants. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman wears a white tunic with tan highlights, and long green pants that bunch up around her shoes. Her golden hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she wants revenge against dire rats
