History: Makaria lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Banker, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His first spouse was a Tailor, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Amûg grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Amûg. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
