History: The child of a Carter, who enjoyed hunting, Carlin was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Carlin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Carlin. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in the west to a Performer, Geva learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Layabout, but she got bored and became a Performer. She has taken up work as a Performer and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.
