History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. After coming to the age of reason, Shifting took it upon herself to study the psionic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.
