Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Balam is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of a Bowyer, who enjoyed hunting, Balam was taken on many hunting expeditions. Balam liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Through the years after Orla was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Orla's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Ruler mother left her crippled. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
