Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'3" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He keeps his chestnut hair in a flapper bob. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. A true patriot, Heian would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Jeweler. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Jeweler responsibilities is difficult.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he wears a worn and beaten armor. He keeps his white fur in a pixie cut. His eyes are hazel.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He's also a talented Sage, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: She tends to wear a large green jacket. Her black hair has been sun bleached extensively. This red eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Vepar grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tieflings became a terror of the countryside. She tends to her Jeweler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: She stands about 5'4" and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. Her long purple hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Verin was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
